I would love to see more vendors. The selection was nice but, I would have loved to see more. And the manga library seemed to run out fairly quickly so if there were more books and movies that would be great. Otherwise, I loved the fest and had a blast

Well it was fun and all, though I wondered if the invitation went out beyond the high school.  I would have been nice to open it to the local elementary and middle school if it wasn't that is.  I didn't see a lot of younger kids there and I was hoping to sell some books to them.  I agree about the narrow space in Artist's Alley too.  It may have encoraged more traffic with a wider area like the Dealer's Room and Game Room.  But beyond that it was nice.

Same as above, in which I believe that the Artist's Alley Hallway was extremely tight...Everytime I tried to get up to leave, I'd be forced to crawl under the table in order to do so. It was getting slightly claustrophobic after a while.

Next year, I believe having the Gynasium would be a nice addittion for more space.

Maybe not for Dealer's however, as there only seemed to be 3 stands...?

Also, the scheldule should be more exact. Namely the screening.

When Durarara! was supposedly playing, KHReborn was on instead.

Things like that.

It's a shame that you guys couldn't get permission to use the gymnasium. The teachers are just being paranoid that the gym floor will get ruined.  *rolls eyes*

It was great that you had more dealers than last year, but hopefully more will be there next year.  :3

Could tarp be rolled out to cover the gym floor if that's the issue? I liked where the artist alley was, but maybe it would be less cramped if the tables took up one wall and rounded the corner? Also, we had an issue of heat in the panel room. It was terribly hot and there was only one fan at the back of the room.

Is there anyway to "lessen" the entrance fee? I mean while walking around the artist alley i saw that almost nothing was getting bought off them. they were quite literally starving artists. I spoke to a few of them and they  didn't even make enough to cover the cost of the table they got, let alone the supply cost of the art they were selling... =/

Yes, I agree with above, I bought two keychains for six bucks and the artist said I made his day. Is that any indicationt to their profit? Also, I think, since there are more people this year--some with some awesome cosplays--it's really space-consuming. We had to edge out of the way for the poor guy who did Belle.

I believe that tarp was suggested to the teachers, but they wouldn't let in. I'm not 100% sure but I know some suggestions were brought to them.

As for the profit artists got, let's just say CHS OF isn't a con to expect a big profit. Fortunately I made about $30 at my table, and it was a big change from last year, since I barely made enough to cover lunch.   :/

For me, CHS is about having fun and possibly a little networking.
