What: Otaku Fest  has many events, among which include:

2. Anime Screenings
3. AMV contest
4. Masquerade
5. Dealer's Row
6. Artist Alley
7. Super Art Fight!
8. Otaku Quest
9. Karaoke Contest
10. Video Game Room and Tournament
11. Crazy Otaku Challenges (i.e. Ramen Eating Contest)
12. Manga Library
13. A LOT MORE TO COME!

How Much:  We have a pre-registration system: $10 per person before January 31st, 2010, and $15 after that date. There is a $3 discount to groups of 10 or more ($7 per person before 1/31/10 and $12 from 1/31/10 to deadline). At-the-door registration is $20. A portion of all convention proceeds go toward Haiti disaster relief efforts!

PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO group discounts for at-the-door registration.  If you are arriving at Otaku Fest with a group of 10 or more people and want to take advantage of the group discount, you MUST PRE-register!

April 9th, 2010 - Bands, Bands and more bands. CHS Otaku Fest is pleased to announce that this year's con will feature live music and a DJ! CHS Otaku Fest 2010 will include live shows by The Protomen (a rock opera about the megaman mythos), Entertainment System (a video game music rock band), Lessor.Core(brand new jrock band based in DC) and DJ Sheephead! February  27th, 2010 - CHS Otaku Fest will be donating a percentage of all convention proceeds to Haiti Relief Efforts! The donation will go to the MercyCorps of behalf of Howard County for Haiti.
In times of crisis we as citizens of this world must do what we can to help those in need and CHS Otaku Fest just wants to do what we can. So when you're at the con remember, in the midst of all the Otaku awesome, you're also helping a great cause. We'd love to do more to help Haiti so if you have ideas or are willing to help us do more let us know on the forums or by emailing president.chsanime@gmail.com with the subject:Haiti.

February 10th, 2010 - (CANCELED)CHS Otaku Fest will have in person registration at a local  Halo 3 and COD: Modern Warfare 2 Tournament!

January 13th, 2010 - CHS Otaku Fest will be in the Katsucon Merchants Room!(map)  Stop by and come say hi! There will be Attendee and Artist Pre-registration for sale!

December 20st, 2009 - Early Registration Discount extended to January 31st. This applies to all types of attendees (artists, dealers, etc.)

October 7th, 2009 - CHS Otaku Fest Dealer's Room and Artist Alley are now open for Registration! Discounts are being offered to those who sign up by December 20th so don't wait!

October 2nd, 2009 -THE OFFICIAL CONVENTION DATE IS APRIL 24TH, 2010.

If you have been informed otherwise (i.e. may have received information at tigercon), this is most likely because it was  prior to September 29th. The date for CHS Otaku Fest 2010 was set for the 17th of April. Since then it has become necessary to change the date to Saturday April 24th and there is will stay.
